    Ok so what do you guys use to install the harmonic balancer hub ? Post up pice prices and any and all info

    7/16 fine threaded rod 1.5 feet long, two nuts, three big washers. Cost? $12 dollars

    It doesn't have to be as convoluted as that. You can get a thrust bearing to take the place of all the washers. Cheap and easy.

    I went to a copperstate nut and bolt warehouse. I spent $15 bucks.

    97 firehawk m6 with a forged long rod 355 stock heads and intake soon to be upgraded to LE 21* tfs heads and a big ass cam , rpm built level 5 t56 trans s60 with 4.30 gears umi suspension walbro pump and hot wire kit and a spinning best 12.36 @ 114 crap 60 foot.

    No doubt about that . But I tell you what that tool is awesome , I'm glad I bought it haha . When I installed my hub it was below zero so I just threw my hub in the oven for a bit and slapped some anti seize on it and it went right on by hand haha , I do have an ATI balancer though.

    just kidding. i've never had an issue putting mine or the others i've worked on, i can just slide it on far enough to where there are plenty of threads to pull it on with the bolt.

    normally just prep the crank snout and pulley before hand with some fine grit paper and wd40 if its needs it to get rid of the surface rust.
