    Really? An LT1 with full bolt ons, suspension mods and DR's should rape a stock 5.0.

    New 5.0s come out tha box with over 400 hp. I dynoed mine years ago and made just shy of 300. Havent done anything to it since. Plus the one he is trying to buy (used) already has CAI and full exhaust. Should be interesting tho.

    5.0.. 5.schmoe... I do NOT see the appeal and I haven't seen anything from the 5.0 that makes it worthy of all the hype. Pure and honest, observation.

    What is it with Mustang guys and getting their butts to a track, to run a race which they obligated themselves to run? FTR: I think you'd have taken that race.
