best cam
hey guys im thinking about selling my car to get a new piece of equipment for my business but if I cant get what I want out of it I will keep it if I end up keeping the car I wanting to cam it its a 96 trans am my mods are longtubes and a 3500 converter im thinking of hotcam as its a weekend car with a little dragstrip use can I get yalls opinion on the best cam ?

Hot Cam is a VERY mild cam.
OK choice if you want to use cheep rockers, cheep pushrods, have a very mild idle, near stock drivability, pass emissions and still pick up 20 HP or so over stock.
Most people will want something more aggressive. Your stall will allow something much larger and you can make more power going with a different cam.
