New...ish.
Hey, guys. I'm new to ltxtech so I thought I'd take the time to indroduce myself. I have a 1996 mystic teal Z28. I bought the car and 3 days later it spun a rod bearing. The previous owner didn't do maintenance on it, so when I changed the oil and did the tune up it freed up the built up sludge and deposits and there she went... So not exactly the best start on it, but it is what it is. I pulled the motor and took everything apart. Had to be the worst running motor I had ever seen. It sucks, but now I'll have a fresh motor and I'll know exactly what is in it, so trying to look at it as a positive thing. Car is going back together as a street stock motor. Bolt ons, 3600 stall converter and a tune. Sucks that it started this way, but I'm just ready for it to be done and enjoy it. I don't have many pictures because of the circumstances but here are a couple... By the way. Is there a spot for project logs on this forum?

Welcome to the site. That really does suck that your project had to start out of necessity rather than being able to do it on your schedule.
Glad to see you joining and introducing yourself. You have def found the most LTX knowledge in one place, and our members are some of the best people on the net, and beyond.
Here is our "PROJECTS & BUILDS" section (hope that is what you are looking for).

Not a fun way to start, but I have to deal with what I've got.
