Lol... Old news... Ill write the same response I did on facebook.
As car guys... We know...whether its admitted or not... Embelishing things for more attention or to have the longer dik is not uncommon...
From hp...to ETs to how great a deal we got on something...
TAKE THAT..and make it a tv show that survives based on ratings... It should not suprise anyone.
Now...in the end.. How the cars were found...the story of them being prototypes...and value is in question...
Even if those things were all embelished... THose two cars are still pontiac history, and by the vin have been verified as #1 & #2....
STILL wayyyyyyy cool.
THANKS for posting that, I meant to do it the other day and forgot.

seemed like they both took it well, didn't seem like either were pissed. i wonder if Tom's punctuality really had a role or if it was the "FU" comment.
i still think the show is going downhill though, i watched a bunch of first season shows yesterday and the show, and the cars were better IMO.

I think the show is still fun to watch... But i agree...it appears there were more issues to toms temination than just the fu reports.

Or the show made those issues to justify to viewers that they were being fired on a actual reason.
Correlation does not imply causation.

I thought that too, but Tom seemed chill as hell while getting fired.

Well either way...whether he mouthed off to the boss... Or if he was constantly late to work... Termination was/is deserved. IF I was the boss and an employee said FU to me...GONE!
AND at the same time...if an employee was constantly late to work...GONE.
So whether they made one or the other up... He (tom) deserved to get fired... And i say that and he was the one i liked on the sho w.
