Practice Trees
Does anyone else use them? I think this is one of the greatest inventions for a drag racer! I need to dust off my port-a-tree and get back to practicing.. kinda been slacking with school work... argh
Here's what mine looks like.. I've got a throttle pedal for it, as well

I have never used one, but after getting my ass handed to me by a pro-tree, I think I might need to. Where did you get that?

Nice!! I've never used one before, but played with some on the computer before just for fun. I really need to get one of them though.

I got mine from summit but you can get them from jegs too.
I have to say they are a great investment since r/t is sometimes what decides who wins or not

I just always figured they'd be a nice toy... but not really effective. Seeing as how i launch with my leg, not thumb. I could easily be wrong... never used one.
Besides, i only TnT, never actually "raced". Heck... they cut our slips in 1/2, I have no idea what the other person ran/lighted.-Duane-

You can always buy a pedal for it, and I have to say it really is effective cause I went from cutting .500 lights down to .001 - .020 lights, but I would not recommend this for people who just go to TNT nights, I only recommend this for people that are wanting to get serious about racing.

They do it cause it's a no-time night. No lights on the boards... just a win light. A lot of people around here don't want others to know what they run... even if they are in the next lane.
I race no time nights cause it's friday evening... and my truck is WAY too freakin' hot to run in the texas afternoon sun.
I should dig out my old slips.... I have NO IDEA what kind of lights I got. Some times I was more interested in getting the RPMs where I wanted them before launching... or if it started to push through the brakes, I'd red light it just so it wouldn't be a waste of a run.-Duane-
