wheel & tire question...
Ok so I'm picking up a set of staggered c5 wagon wheels for cheap this weekend. 17's for the front and 18's for the rear...what tire sizes would you guys recommend and also open to any recommendations for good 18" drag radials since I've never bought any before.
Plan on having them powder coated black or like this below, haven't decided yet....

The factory C5's are 17x8.5" front and 18x9.5" rear. Stock C5 tire sizes were 245/45-17 (25.7") and 275/40-18 (26.7"). Generally, you don't want to "stagger" the tire diameter on a 4th Gen F-Body. For a conventional rear tire, consider 275/35-18 (25.6") or 285/35-18 (25.9").
For a rear drag radial, M/T makes an ET Street Radial II in 265/40-18 (26.5"). BFG makes their g-Force T/A Drag Radial in 275/35-18 (25.6").SOLD - GONE TO A (VERY) GOOD HOME ! - 94 Formula A3+1: 381ci forged stroker - Callies Stealth, Oliver 5.85 billet rods, BME nitrous pistons / CNC LT4 heads / CC solid roller / TH400+GearVendors OD / 4.11 Strange 12-bolt / 300-shot N2O / Spohn Suspension / roll bar / MoTeC M48 Pro engine management system /a few other odds 'n ends.
