braided lines worth it?
anyone swap out the lines to the calipers with braided lines and notice a differences? search showed a few people that did in with ls1 brake swaps, but couldnt find any with stock brakes.

I did it, but I don't really notice it. Mainly did it cause of aftermarket K member though.
My daily is a 3/4 ton, so driving the camaro it could have a missing caliper or two and it would feel quicker to stop.Correlation does not imply causation.

cool, i'll just skip it then... i have all the calipers off right now so nows the time to do it, but my lines looks fine so i'll save the money.

The other thought is, are they OE rubber?
If you can afford it, new rubber lines from a auto parts store couldn't hurt. Rubber does degrade, and all it takes is a hard brake stomp.Correlation does not imply causation.

they are only 20 year old, they should be ok.
yeah you are probably right, they also have been off for a while so exposed to air and moisture.
