Less Forums
So having alot of different forums and subforums is great of you have a huge site (like LS1Tech) but it seems like a good majority of the sections are fairly small on this site. What about merging some of the sections until they get larger. For example I think "Tuning and PCM", "Fueling and Injection", "Dyno Results" and even "Forced Induction" and "Nitrous Oxide" can all be covered in the "LT1-LT4" forum. "Brakes", "Drivetrain", "Suspension" and "Exhaust" could also be made into one large section. Maybe that would be a little much, but I deffinietly think there could be some downsizing.
In my opinion a few busy forums looks better than alot of slow(er) ones. I also think it would help distinguish this site a little more from LS1Tech. Of course, this is only a suggestion.
Great work on this site guys. I hope things keep going well.Last edited by Counted Out; 01-13-2009 at 05:44 AM.

I personally like the set up now. I think its a lot more helpful the way its divided up, and easier to find the info you need.

I just click the "new posts" link at the top of the page and don't even bother looking at each sub forum. If I want to search something specific I just use the search function.
That's what's nice about this still being a fairly small board, the new posts are typically only 3-4 pages if you check on here daily.Brandon

Yup.... "new post"er here too.
I like it being divided up though. Easier to browse, and MUCH easier to search. Besides.... it's nice to have the layout to grow with.-Duane-

Would probably frequent a lot less if they were combined
I simply don't want to sift through nitrous posts to find out more forced induction info
Combining stuff would just make the posts you're looking for harder to find

It is setup the way it is to avoid as much confusion as possible as well as direct traffic. Though you have a solid idea, it would just be madness. Plus, having the forums spread out a bit more allows us to have more moderators. Most are experts in the section they moderate which really helps out.

Maybe my idea was a little large, but I still think we can cut back on some forums - but again, thats not my call.
I just noticed we have a Racing forum and a Kill Section forum. I'm assuming the "Kill Section" is for street racing, but I see posts about regular drag racing too.
Sorry if it seems like I'm bitching - just trying to make suggestions.ThatAdStudent.com - Advertising and Graphic Design Blog
