i had to go on the outside of my bmr torque arm mount, but i have the old style that looks like a big brick.

i just put a bung in each side for mine, i would swap sides every now and then to make sure it was close.

    bumping this back up...

anyone running an x pipe with a wideband? whereabouts do you have the sensor?

If you want it to read from both sides id put it after the x, im going to say right in the x could give false readings. Or just put it on one side before the x, granted your only reading one side, but chance are they are going to be reading very close to the same anyway. If something is a lot dif theres a big issue and youll prob be able to feel it anyway. Id been planning on running two widebands, but im just sticking to one for the time being on one side cause they are too damn pricey. Lol

ya I kinda didn't really want to do it on one bank just incase there was an issue with fueling on a bank to bank issue just in case... idk

I was afraid of it too. But if its after the x pipe, youre going to have mixed readings anyway. Say voltage is off or something and one bank goes 2 points more lean than the other, gases are going to mix at the x pipe and possibly only show you 1 point higher than normal and you might not catch it. Chances are they are going to be the same coming from each side. If something happens that throws it way off, (piston, ring, etc) youll feel it in power and in the car. Safest way if youre worried about both sides is two widebands. If you want to run one, I dont see much dif in running it before or after the x pipe. Just wouldn't put it right at it

As for the wideband location I'd like to know also! Here's my X with the MWC short TA, I had to modify the mount for the driveshaft loop.

I personally will have it before the x pipe. Used to have true duals with no x, chose passenger side. Lol. Was planning on two widebands for this build, but im just sticking with one. Whichever side seems to be easier. Lol

That exhaust looks really good Josh.

Maybe I'll order 2 o2 bungs and weld them into each side of the x and put the sensor in one side and cap the other one off and maybe switch it to the other side if I wanted to check it?

There's got to be someone running one that is working good for them.

Should of kept my y pipe lol.
