That's nuts. My whole axle cost me 1200 up to this point including the moser axles.

Yeah I know. Unfortunately I can't seem to find anyone to machine some for me. I'm at a standstill currently

I know this has been asked before, but how do I make sure I don't have the width to short/long

With a jig. You build a fixture to hold the axle housing that bolts up at the ends of the tubes, then cut the tubes, center up the new center section and weld it all together

    Update!

I'm trying to push this along so I can start my Twin Screw manifold.

I have the rear at a builder now. The housing should be completed sometime next week. Cost wasn't what I'm expecting ($800), which includes mating my old tubes to the 8.8, making it look beautiful, and the 8.8 its self. I'm okay with the cost, as he's going above and beyond making it look beautiful. We won't be using any sleeves on it either.

My question: is the carbon fiber clutch packs worth the extra money? I don't mind spending the money on a set, but is it worth the price? I want this rear as quite as possible, as my 10 bolt makes a sh*t ton of noise.
