Another LS swap
Wow is all I have to say.
I finally got the front brake swap done.
If you are on the fence about doing this, just get out there and do it all ready. I found a few things under the front seats that I did not know were there on the first hard stop after bedding the brakes. It even kicks the ABS where the stock LT brakes would never bite that hard.
I also replaced ball joints and tie rod ends.
I ended up using 1999 C5, new stock rubber lines. they were $20 a piece and no one local could get DOT SS front lines overnight. Had it aligned and I can not believe how much better it drives and how much tighter the steering feels.

Sounds great!!! I like the feel of mine too. My tie rod ends were fairly new when I bought my car but I replaced the bushings and ball joints, had the SFCs installed and all aligned. Body roll vanished, and stops shorter than with LT1 front brakes. I had stainless brake lines custom made and they maintain rigidity under pressure better than rubber, which can swell over time. Lots more fun, and dependable, to drive now.
