Got the appraisal back monday, and now literally the only thing we are waiting on to finalize everything is a statement from sallie mae about what my student loan payments are going to be. And I must have got the new guy yesterday, because I had to call them again today as they sent me the wrong statements. And the lady I talked to today knew what I needed, why I needed it as soon as I said I needed the projected payments.

Got some good news, and some not so good news.
Good news is that we will be closing on the house.
Not so good news, is we don't know exactly when yet. Due to an arcane and here to fore unheard of mortgage regulation, we have to wait until at least Dec 18th to start the closing process, if not the end of the month.
So it's not a matter of if, just a matter of when. On a side note, my landlord agreed to a month and a half extension, so we have plenty of breathing room should anything else arise.
