    Default Lt1 nitrous

I have a 97 z28 bought a NOS brand 58mm plate kit. I was told to run a window switch. Could anyone explain why… I launch between 4500-5500 depending on track conditions. I can understand why use a window switch to disengage the nitrous on the high end, but why a set rpm to kick it on?

I am going to assume a m6...if the car bogs you run the risk of loading the intake and backfiring

It's a m6, on a good day at the track I launch at 5500. Where would I need to set the switch at? And I shift at about 6300

Nitrous needs to not be sprayed on the engine at low rpm. It will generate too much cylinder pressure/torque. 3000 is the lower limit that most do.

Most just run a wot switch.
