I'm assuming you are using ported stock heads?

The Probe -4 cc flat tops can get you the 12:1 your after.

Yeah ported stock heads with Manley 2.00 intake valves and 1.56 exhaust valves with patriot gold springs and cc pro mags. How good do you think this head set will be.

It honestly comes down to the porting job.

How much porting can you do. I thought you basically could just gasket match them and smooth everything out.

    They can be heavily ported.

you will want a -5 cc piston from Mahle or SRP.

You will need a 243/251 .597/.603 109 LSA cam to run well on pump gas.

If auto get a Yank SS 3600 stall and 3.73 gears.

If 6 speed you will want a 4.11 gear.

Get the best flowing complimenting mods that you can afford (LS1 air lid, 58 MM TB, ported intake, 1 7/8 LT headers, 3" True Duals with X pipe, Bullet mufflers and dumps at rear end, electric WP, etc).

Damn nighttrain66 just hit the damn nail on the head. I do have a auto with the yank Ss 3600 and 373 gears. And who should I get that cam threw. And are 2.0 intake and 1.56 exhaust the best size for stock heads. And I already have every bolt on you can do. I just got to build a better bottom end.
