    Default Changing gauge needles?

I was just wondering if any one has ever changed the gauge needles on the 93 cluster to the red ones off newer cluster? Can it be done?

That's awesome... I came here to ask that question... kinda.

YES, they can be changed. Lots of S-10 guys swap the fatter orange needles for the skinny red ones. Although.... they also cut the needles shorter... don't know if that's necessary.

The other option is using nail-polish remover and a knife to scrape the orange off the needles, and either leave them clear, sand them to a fog, or paint them your choice of color.

Now my question. When did F-bodies switch needles?
