Along the lines of fuel pressure, if the fuel pressure regulator was stuck closed, or a return line was pinched, it could cause the fuel pressure to be too high, overpowering the injectors and dumping fuel. Its worth checking.

I changed the oil today to make sure it didn't get too out of control. I own a garage and have built quiet a few motors but I've never really messed around with the performance end of fuel injected motors.
I will check the fuel pressure tomorrow. All temperature readings seem normal for a cold motor (40-60 degrees). Any idea what is up with the desired idle rpm and current idle rpm? Desired idle is 3177 or like 3178 rpms and the current idle (while the motor is off) is reading 183,000+ rpms... That alone truly makes me feel like te computer is the issue and my buddy had quiet a few issues with pcmforless in the past.

No idea with that..but i meant the ambient air temp sensor...not the engine temp. The one that designates how much fuel the car is gonna add wjen cold out.

I have seen some pretty odd idle requests in freescan with koeo after a stall before. If you can post up a datalog I'm sure there are a few guys that would take a look and see if anything jumps out.

All the temp sensors were reading between 40-60 on the scanner. Ambient was one of them and believe was at 43 or 52.
And the scanner is a Snap On MODIS. Not some junky $100 scanner. I even tested a 1996 Yukon afterwards and with the truck off the desired idle is 800 (truck idled at approx 750) and the current idle was 0.
Regardless of the idle request rpm, the computer thinks the motor is running at 183,000+ when it is off (didn't even check what it thinks it's running at while it's on because the motor pings like crazy so I kill it real quickly).Last edited by zraffz; 11-29-2013 at 07:25 PM.

As far as 453 in open loop that's ok. The PCM isn't using the o2s in open loop. When I goes into closed loop both should jump around
