Default whats the difference between 95 and 96 hub and timming chain cover?

Okay I am going to switch to a 24x system eventually. I know this involves using a 96-97 timing cover. So what difference are there between the 95 setup and 96 setup I should be aware of.

Im going to be running this hub and balancer setup

the 96-97 hub is a little shorter to accommodate the reluctor ring behind the timing cover and the 96 timing cover has the hole for the cam sensor. That's pretty much the big ones. everything else 95-97 should be the same

Okay that makes sense from what I have read. Now next question. To run the 24x system I need the stock reluctor ring or so I need to run one the 24x kit provides? essentially what I am doing is redoing my heads and doing a refresh on my engine If I can pull the hub and timing cover now while its on the stand and setup everything for the 24x system it means I wont have to do it in the car.

You will need the 24x reluctor. The stock reluctor is only a 4x signal.

You have been a rel help 94blackhawk I really appreciate it. So just to sum it up I need the 24x reluctor from them and the 96-97 timing chain cover and I am good to go. My new hub and balancer uses a shim to work with the 95 cover so I just leave the shim out to for it to work on a 96-97. I wont need anything else correct?
