Learning Trans am owner in Central Fl
Glad to be here, seems like most of the people here are more professional helpful than LS1tech. Also, it's cool to see the infamous LE sponsoring the site! I'm rebuilding my 97 trans am currently. first rebuild, father son, already down to the block and looking at machine shops.

Don't have any pics on this computer they're on my phone. I'll get them up eventually though. I'm currently moving, just got raided by the police(found nothing), training at my job, while all along my car is having some serious surgery being performed! Quite a busy time in my life you could say.
So far it's been a great bonding time with pops, he's a real fan of the car. I'll be sure to post in the florida section, I'm looking for car meets/groups once the car is running. I came to find this forum first from liking ltxtech on FB, then seeing a pic posted last night of pnyhuntr's amazingly badass build! I knew this was a serious ltx tech place full of respectable knowledgeable individuals.Last edited by MI6TA; 11-12-2013 at 04:35 PM.

Welcome aboard! It is in my opinion hard to like a site, any site that the majority of the folks who are members think that you are either wasting your time or insane doing anything with the LTx platform except and LSx swap! A lot of knowledgeable folks on this site, and all LTx friendly as one would expect. I also tend to feel that this site is user friendly so to speak...not a bunch of overbearen know it all's that do not berate or belittle you, that is as long as your honest and sincere. I tried to get my Son involved into my cars through the years but he is interested in them, yet he isn't. We go to cruise-ins and Goodguys shows a lot but getting him involved in wrenching is just not his cup of tea. Don't get me wrong he will help me anytime I need him, otherwise he just isn't motivated lol. So, consider yourself lucky as nothing better than Dad & Son time together. I never had that from my Dad growing up and was never there for support...I include my Son in everything, and I am thankful. But as stated...Welcome!

Welcome to the site, man. We definitely have a one of a kind group here that you'll be hard pressed to find anywhere else on the net. We all treat each other like family here, as long as everyone is honest in their dealings. We take care to boot out any members who are just out to cause problems by lying or cheating anyone else, so all we ask is that you uphold the same respect to your fellow LTXers as we will show to you.
96 Trans Am WS6 LT1 M6: 10/7/11 - current: 245.7 RWHP / 266.2 RWTQ - 14.462s @ 98.28 MPH

I was the same way in a lot of ways with my dad, always loved his 69 Nova, went to the strip a few times, but never really had enough interest to do things myself. That is, until I got my TA then I started buying books about lt1's the fbody, ls1's and read up on a lot of stuff. Plus having friends with fun projects and giving them help got me in to it.I'm a little sad to say that I've directly helped in making a whole 5.0 ford for a 91 stang before I got to my gm beauty. But because of that, I am more experienced and ready for my masterpiece haha

Welcome to the site! I was just in Miami on Saturday coming back from a cruise - weather down there is still gorgeous compared to back home. Let's see some pics.
