    Default Radio button compatibility?

I have a 96 TA that needs new radio control buttons.

I found a nice pair of 99-2002 buttons, and they look the same as mine. Are they going to be compatible or not. I tried doing a search, but no luck

I assume your talking about the steering wheel.

From what ive found a 99 stereo was installed in a 95 TA and the buttons worked with the stereo. So I would say the opposite is true. The only thing I thank GM changed on the 95+ wheels is the color and the clock spring for the LS models. And the controls was all the same.

    Sorry for not being clear,

My steering wheel radio controls are pealing off. I am wanting to replace them. I found a set of 99-02 controls, will these physically fit into my 96 steering wheel and work with my stock radio?
