I only ever used Tunercats but haven't even touched that since about 2006.

It was just hard to comprehend that no one had messed with Pro and a 93 before.

Maybe some day this will help someone else out.

I assume you are using the DA2.ADS, converted to adx, file with TunerPro version 5, right? Or directly with Version 4?

It is version 5, and I am running an ADX, but as far as DA2.ADS I do not know what that is.

What is the full name of the file you are using? Is it DA2.adx?

Can you measure the DC voltage at pin M of the DLC with a multimeter? If it is under about 3-4 volts, the DERM or EBCM may be shorting it. If so unplug them (after removing the fuses for each and waiting 20 minutes).

    $EE-16188051-V3.5

I have to run out to work today so I will check the power on the pin.

Tunerpro says connected, but shows no info.

    Datamaster doesn't connect.

    Scan9495 doesn't connect.

Not sure if all of that is because it is an EPROM ECM.

$EE-16188051-V3.5 Wrong file. Go to the tunerpro.net web site and download the DA2.ADS file. In TunerproRT5, select Acquisition/Import Definition and then that file (da2.ads). It will prompt you to save it under the name DA2.adx. Do so. At that point it should work. TunerproRT version 5 needs an adx file, and the above process creates one using the ads file you downloaded.

I have to run out to work today so I will check the power on the pin.

Tunerpro says connected, but shows no info. Was using the wrong definition file ($EE=94/95 LT1)

Datamaster doesn't connect. You would need the version for the 93, not an EE version, if that is what you have.

Scan9495 doesn't connect. Never will, it is only for the 94/95 cars.

Not sure if all of that is because it is an EPROM ECM. Doesn't matter.

See this post for a possibly newer version for the 93: http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...mation-DA2-DA3

Appreciate all the help. Do I need to use the DA3.xdf with the DA2.adx as well? I downloaded it in case, before I head to the car. I do have the EE version of Datamaster and can't find the older one online.

Will update this is a few hours. Fingers are crossed.

    THANKS GARYDOUG !

The xdf file is for the bin only and not for scanning. You can use it for making changes to the pcm.

You would need the "DA" version of Datamaster

@GaryDoug is the member of the month to me!

Tunerpro connected, ECM is reading the correct coolant temp now. Couldn't let it get hot enough to see of the fans are operating correctly as my plug wires are touching the header.

It does have a glitch I experienced when I first used tunerpro on my 95. There was some kind of patch I had to download then which made it stop glitching.

The 93 adx does it too though, reading 73 coolant temp, then the gauges bounce way negative, then back reading, and repeat.
