DawDaw- Far as I know, it is a Flaming River. How much weight do you think it removes?

Fred, that is the first time I've seen the PHR relocated like that, thats odd. I wonder what Spohns' reasoning is behind that? I run that same Spohn chassis-mounted TQ arm, have for years w/o a problem. Its a nice piece.

I've checked some weights from all the stock stuff to the manual rack I've been setting up in mine. Even with the bracket I built to mount the rack it will still save an overall 15-20lbs

Well if you still have power steering quite a bit. You get rid of the reservoir, all the fluid, lines, , bracket, and the heaviest piece the pump itself also the rack itself is a 4 or so lbs heavier. Not to mention the parasitic loss that the power steering robs. It all adds up. I would say no less then 20 lbs easy easy. I just ripped mine off and did madman low mount alternator relo and a flaming river from MWC and I would say its an easy 25 lbs. I should weigh it all to see.

Here ya go. http://shop.rackdoctor.net/CAMARO_c40.htm Can't beat the price. I'm on the fence about this since I still drive on the street a lot and afraid with the heavy 17 wheels and tires it would get old.
