    Default *** Several Issues - Low Coolant Temp (15) & No connectivity to ECM ***

    1. Code 15 - Low Coolant Temp.
    -Has new sensor and new pigtail
    -Getting the +5V reference at the pigtail
    -Am getting 3.6M Ohms at the ECM ?!?! (Around 2300 Ohms just sensor in open air, so sensor is reading correctly)

    2. I have another thread on this, but in case they are related.
    No connectivity with ECM, with Tuner PRO, Freescan, Scan9495, Can't get my data master to open.

    These may or may not be of help. Straight from the 93 FSM.

    Thanks Sean, I went through most of that this weekend other than not being able to scan with anything. Looking like an ECM issue at this point, as the sensor and wiring all the way to the ECM is good.
    AND \/\/\/

    1. 3k Ohms from sensor.
    2. 3k Ohms on ECM wires from sensor while ECM unplugged.
    3. 1800 Ohms on the same when ECM is plugged in.
    4. THEN, 2.6M Ohms when ECM is powered up, testing on the same.

    Just priced 94 PCM connectors at $66 for all 4 new with the colored parts as well. PCM from a member on here Friday, and just gonna swap over now instead of buying another '93 ECM.

    Then I can tune how I have been with the Nova, and just run a Speed Density 6-speed tune since I have the 4L60.

    Makes sense and the wiring harness shouldn't be too hard to repin for the 94 computer. Hey........as a thought, if you aren't doing anything with the 93 connectors for the ECM..........I could use them. Would let me make some wiring harness changes and clean up my rats nest where I joined in the XFI. Let me know what you want for the four ECM connectors once you're done with them.

    Once I repin and fire it up you can have them. They look pretty good too, no broken tabs or anything, that I recall.

    Only thing I know on the diagrams so far is running the extra couple wires for heated O2s.

    Wondering if I will have any dash panel issues, but I am going to print out everything from both years tomorrow and start making a chart of from/to for each wire and see what's missing or new for '94.

    You will probably have issues with the Tach. I know when you swap in a 94+ Cluster into a 93 the ONLY way you'll get the tach working is to put an aftermarket ignition box on it. Not sure about how it'll react when swapping to a 94+ ECM. If you have issues, I'd start with removing the tach filter and splicing the two white wires together.

    Just throwing this out there-

    You cannot repin a 93 harness. You have to cut the wiring and crimp a 100w female terminal and then populate the 94 up pcm connectors appropriately.

    Im gonna give you a call tomorrow. My phone has rang off the hook and I have had to focus on getting items out the door.

    Call for all of your wiring needs! LTX, LSX, Stand Alone, S10, Full Size Trucks, DIY Kits, Extensions, and Pigtails!

    @green96ta

    I figured you were pretty busy, I have been too. Whenever you get time I appreciate any guidance, as I may have to throw in another 93 just to get it rolling so I can shake down everything else.

    @green96ta Off topic, but do you have access to the correct pins for the 93 connectors? Once I get the stuff from JCZNova, I might get a bunch from you if possible.

    @Fastbird
    I plan to buy what I can from Bill, because I like to support sponsors. If he doesn't I found everything on eficonnection.com.
