    About which one of these do you feel is the likely culprit?

    Been doing a lot of lifting/twisting and standing up/sitting down repeatedly throughout the day or over the last few days? The internal oblique is gonna be a deeper pain, the fascia is right on top under the skin.

    I moved some heavy polls at shool yesterday.

    My days are spent on my feet with alot of walking tho....

    mAybe it was moving those poles.... its just worryin me cause i literally cant catch my breath when the pain hits...its THAT BAD

    Sounds like you may have strained something and/or possibly pulled something. I've pulled my lower lats right above the belt line multiple times back when I was in wrestling in high school, so I know the feeling you're talking about. Mine were sometimes bad enough to bring me to my knees and leave me momentarily paralyzed for 10-15 seconds before it would release. Felt like a knife in my back... I highly recommend getting some of those Dr. Scholl's inserts for your feet, as they will take some strain off your lower back while you're on your feet all day. They did wonders for me. Other than that, just take it easy and find you a comfortable position to lay down and let all your back muscles unflex and rest. It might hurt for a couple days, but luckily it's the weekend and you can rest. No heavy lifting until it's feeling better. Once it's back to normal, something that helped mine strengthen up a bit to have more resistance to that happening again was some lightweight deadlifts, like 45 lbs. for my bodyweight. Just enough to feel a stretch, but not enough to stress the muscles in a workout fashion. 3 sets of 15 per day and my back was feeling a hell of a lot better inside of a week.

    Yeah, I used to stand there in an almost scalding hot shower for 30 minutes to get it to release a bit, then just lay down and watch TV or something till I pass out. But the Dr. Scholl's inserts really do make a world of difference, it's crazy how much a little gel insert makes your feet and lower back feel so much better.
