    Default Y2K Vette wheels on 95 Z28

Installed a set of OEM Y2K Vette wheels today. I love the way they look on the car, but I have some rubbing issues in the rear when turning or going in reverse. Looks like it might be hitting that bump stop bracket. I've read that I can grind it down, but I was thinking that I would rather run a small spacer if that's enough to prevent the contact. Anybody else running these wheels have this problem? If so, what did you do to fix it?

I had C5 wheels on my 95 before... and they required 1" spacers on the rear. The kind that bolt to the hub.. and has studs sticking out of it.

My 96 runs 1/4" spacers, but they required longer studs to have enough bite by the lug nuts.

    Car looks great though!

Take a close look and confirm where you are rubbing... if its the inner fender well and not the bump stops... a BFH can be a quick...cheap solution.

ALso, I found that jeep cherokee poly bump stops are the same bolt pattern as our Fbody ones.. but slightly smaller... you do have to grind a tab away from the car so they sit flush... but its a good replacement.

Thanks, I love the way they look. I was going to go with polished ZR1 replicas but I found these on Craigslist. I always liked this wheel and you don't seem them nearly as often on a 4th gen.

For an adapter, I was looking at this:

I can snag a set of 18-19s off craigslist for $500 and wondered if they will work and what tires do others run on them?

you will have to do BFH mod on bump in inner rear fender other than that...mine fit no problem, I did have adjust panhard though, so my rear was even

Do you guys think this is a good deal at $500?
I found polished 17s ans 18s with good front tires for $600 that look like these.
