    Gonna move to the "swaps" section since I'm getting off topic of "introductions". I'll title it "78 TA Slow build". I have the build on another site ( trasnamcountry.com) They are courteous and professional over there too.

    Thanks for the kind words. I've been busy the last few weeks wrenching on the TA and have a ton of pics to share. It takes a while though cuz they have to be approved by the boss man.

    I LOVE Trans AMs! My first car was a 77 with a 400 in it. I think the shaker hood is the toughest hood ever made. The interior look great for its age. I think your car will sound better with an LT1 iron block than an aluminum LS block. Our engine sound more classic muscle to me than LS engines.

    Welcome I'm also from Texas but unfortunately live in va now. Hope to see this swap up close when I get back home.
