    Default Tuner in Charlotte area

    Just looking for someone to delete my rear o2's. if anyone can recommend someone that would be awesome. Otherwise I suppose I'll have to do a mail order etc.

    Moe can do it for u mail order.... Sorry thats all the knowledge I can offer.

    Are there NO tuners down there? I have a laptop with LT1 edit on it...

    My cable is for a 95 which Im not sire if it will work (obd 2 end for am obd 1 computer)

    PCMforless is an hour away but they don't do LTX there at that location.

    I'm just gun shy about the whole deal, don't want my car acting anything but stock really. Makes me nervous reading some stories about mail order tunes. I should send Moe a pm probably.

    yeah around here not awhole lot of options for lt1 tuners...may want to search upstate s.c.

    have you checked out zeusperformance? they are right there in Charlotte. I went there a few times when I was with my ex who lives in concord. they were just too damn far of a drive from fort bragg


    383, Eagle crank, scat rods, Mahle pistons, 238/248 .565 cam. 3k stall, AFR 210 heads, Pacesetter LT, 58 MM TB and a few other goodies.

    and why exactly do you want to delete your o2's? thats about the only emissions thing i kept

    I just needed to delete the rear o2's which only are there to make sure the cats are doing their job. The guts of one of my magnaflow cats broke loose and was rattling like a baby rattle. So I gutted them both, which causes the rear o2's to throw the code. I believe I solved it with a cheap fix I found on the interweb though. The problem with finding a tuner is if they don't know you personally they don't wanna do anything with emissions anymore, EPA has imposed some pretty strict and expensive penalties, can't say I blame the tuners, I would be the same way I'm sure.
