Before i go to bed im gonna share my new pile. 1979 mazda rx7 gs 5spd. Paid $350 with a clean title. Its getting a ls1/t56 swap. Car weighs 2400lbs. With the ls1/t56 it will be 2400-2500lbs. Car should be fun.

Nice score, when I was doing the land speed racing thing me and my 2 partners had an 86 RX and we put my 12.5 to 1 396 in it LOL.
For a street car this thing should get with the program and it will get extra cool credits for having a "proper" engine in it like an LT1

I will do a build thread when i start.
Btw does anyone know how hard it is to find a set of 13 inch tires. Car uses a 185/70/13 stock. Biggest tire i can go without cutting is a 235.
The lug pattern is a 4x110mm. Same as a polaris atv. Makes my rim choices very slim unless i can find a later car and get the bigger 4 lug or 5 lug stuff.Last edited by Badbird_96; 06-12-2013 at 12:09 AM.

Not bad for guy with little experience doing that. Little early on the braking. But Im sure he was running a stock style brake setup.
