I know rich through a friend with a supercharged c6 from vette doctors. Richs' car is very nice and always sounded healthy. sucks that he got screwed. Heard a similiar story recently from a friend with a g8 from another shop. I guess it's just no one cares anymore and it's always not their fault it must be the owner because he's not a performance mechanic.

That's one big reason I try to do as much as I possibly can myself.

I would still like to hear exactly what issues ECS found as to have on the lift off the lift, on the lift off the lift, etc, etc. They never did say what they had to do. If they had explained themselves and said what they did to the car, or how the car was fighting them, then maybe I could see their point. But obviously, the way that guy worded that post, he sounds like an asshole.

As soon as he jammed the jack under my car I would have stopped him right there....and he would be paying to fix any damage.

No, that was CAM......can't remember the guys name. There was a LOT to that story though. Granted the shop was in the wrong but the cars owner was pushing for a brand new current year car and the shop had already said they'd get a same year lower mileage perfect condition car as a replacement. That's when shit hit the fan on that one, the owner took it everywhere because they wanted a new car out of the deal.

Doug can't spell and he's talking that much trash. That alone would keep me away from him.

A buddy of mine had a clutch installed in his LS Fbody at ECS. They called him the minute it was finished and asked him to pick it up as soon as possible because they didn't like Fbodys bringing down the class of the place!

That's insane. I can't believe the tuner came on and said thosr things, even if the vette wasn't ready, which looked damn nice. I obviously won't be using them but I just csnt believe it all!
Making you silky smooth...
