USAF member checking in
Hi guys, let's see... My name is Brad, I'm 36, active duty USAF, and currently stationed in Virginia. I've been a fan of f-bodies since I was old enough to drive and have many fond memories of going to my local Pontiac dealership in the early-mid 90s to look at/drive them. A good friend of mine has owned several 3rd gens and a sweet '96 WS6, but I never have, and I think it's about time to fix that, lol, so I'm here to research and learn as much as I can from everyone. I currently own 4 cars... though I will be selling two to make room for the f-body. My current cars are a '04 VW R32, a '04 Mazdaspeed Miata, a '96 Nissan 200sx SE-R (my first new car), and a '94 Honda Accord Wagon. The R32 and SE-R will be the ones to go to make room, with the Miata and Wagon staying. Miata because they are one of the best drivers cars of all time, and so much fun on back roads... And the wagon because it's a great daily with plenty of cargo room for all my needs (also fun to drive as I've upgraded it a bit).
I'm here in part because I've got my eye on two cars, both of them modified... a '96 WS6 and a '01 WS6. I'm pretty torn trying to decide between the two, and am trying to sort through the pros and cons of both, so I'll welcome your advice... But I'll save that topic for it's own post elsewhere on the board and throw a link in here once it's created.
Anyway, great to be here, and look forward to being part of the community.

Thanks Larry, it's great to be here... Great site too! I've really been enjoying reading up on it over the last week or so. It's my new favorite website for fbody content even though I know the site covers far more than just f-bodies! There are so many nice cars here, I'm actually having to force myself to focus only on what I really want (a WS6) lest I be lured off spending hours looking at Corvettes, Camaros, and Impala SSs. My wife can attest to that too lol.
Here's the link to the discussion about my two basic choices... I placed it in the fbody section, which I hope is ok, but please move it if there is a better place for the discussion.
