We went to the gator nationals in 02. We were walking under the bleachers to our seats when a funny car left the line. You could feel the earth shake. My 5 yr old at the time goes running to mommy... It was so funny.... He was ok with it after that. We all had earplugs. Good times.

We went for the 1st time last year. We had always been to the "semi-pro" races, if that's what you want to call them, NMCA, local track, etc. I couldn't believe that literally ALL 5 senses are stimulated! It is SO awesome! Everyone definitely needs to go at least once! & the nice thing about Topeka is they let you come in & out of the gates, so you can go out to the car to re-fuel!
