I will try to get a pic tomorrow of where i had to grind. When i pull it to put my PA k-member back in.

I put the the driver in from the top. I had to remove steering linkage and unbolt driver motor mount and lift engine about 1 inch(i also had to pull my canton valve cover but stock one you won't)

Passenger went in from bottom. I had to remove starter. And dip stick tube. Don't know if you have to remove tube. I just did it to be safe.

Well that's pretty good news on the install.
Dealing with 20 year old cars with the loose tolerance GM has building them a little grinding can have to be done sometimes.
With our version 1's different people had a lot of different issues. The main ones were one of the passanger side primaries hit the wheel well and the well had to be dented to clear.
Also the top primary on the drivers side hit the steering shaft so it had to be moved over. There were some other primaries that were close to different parts of the K member and required grinding.
Over all with the version 2's we corrected 99% of the issues with the version 1's but depending on the car some minor adjustments may have to be made.

I gotta wonder how many of the above issues would have been far less prevalent with a new set of motor mounts put in at the same time.........

    True.
We did all the test fitting on a car that had poly mounts.
But you have to realize you are trying to put four 1 7/8" pipes through a space that was only designed for one single pipe coming off the stock exhaust manifold.

I was using a stock K with rubber mounts.

Another thing i forgot to mention. With these headers just like my other set. You will need a short oil filter. A tall one will not clear.

Also if you have the factory oil cooler setup it will have to be removed. And use a short filter.
