have your tuner pull *4 timing get a WET kit and spray a 75hp shot and your plenty safe and its enough to put a smile on your face
(and to all the naws pros yeah the rule of thumb is 2* for every 50 shot but if he is wanting to play is on the safe side and not push it more timing pulled then needed is way better than not enough pulled ) with the extra timing pulled you may lose 5-7 hp with out spray but that is no biggie.94 Formula "budget build" #thebeaterbird

75 shot 100shot 125shot would be just about the maximum I would put on there.
There is no special tune to do on that motor to handle nitrous I promise you, many years of nitrous on TPI cars here..
You can pull timing on your own via distributor
I use autolite25 plugs gapped at .035"
Timing set at 6°-8°
No air leaks in the Plenum boots
Of course place the nozzle behind the MAF
Check fuel pressure 44psi w/ vacuum line off
With a 700r4 I prefer to have a manual activation switch so I can deactivate the nitrous just before the the 1-2, 2-3 shift since some 700r4s get pissed and freak out and not shift in time even during the useless manual shift that people tend to do. Right now if the car is in good shape it should be running 14.8 for an '85 so expect to dip into the mid 13s on a 100 shot

Sounds like timing issues. Knock sensors too tight maybe, or your timing is off at all points which is why the slower burn of 112 helps start and also delays the combustion at wot and gets rid of your pinging. Just a thought.
