I just bench tested it in my garage with the lights off and it isn't as bad as you would think. I figured the whole lense would light up, but it really doesn't.
Tomorrow I'm going to start putting the interior back into my car, so I will get some completed pics by the weekend.....hopefully lolLE3 355, M6, Fully Bolted & Full Suspension, 3.5" Mufflex w/Borla, MWC Fab 9 w/Watts Link, 315 NT555 on all 4 Corners

I went out and took some, but you can't see where the hole was drilled, just where the wires come up through. I could take the cluster apart, but I don't really don't want to again.

That is pretty sharp and a great idea! ... You could always throw some NightShade on the lights if they were too obnoxious. This would also make them pretty unnoticeable if not lit. Just a thought.

Nice job, looks clean! Just something to consider with putting the MSD box in your glove compartment. They get pretty hot and there's no airflow in there. Some people have had issues with them failing, heat kills electronics. On the same note I'm sure there are several people using them there without any issues, I know I've seen them in there on other cars.
