    Angry One of those days!!!!

For those that don't know, I work in a GM dealership Parts Dept.
We get these calls from time to time, but I got 4 already today just like this:

Lady calls and gives the story of she lost a key and the other is broke, her husband is out of town working, yata, yata, yata.

Me: Ma'am, is your name on the title or registration?
    Lady: No, my husbands.
Me: The he is the one who must bring in one of those documents with a photo ID for us to request a key code from GM.
Lady: OK, do you have a key for it?
Me: I need the last 8 digits of your VIN
    Lady: Last 4?
Me: Last 8 please. being a 2006 that first digit of the last 8 will be a 6.
    Lady: last 6 are...
Me: NO Ma'am, the last 8 digits. (taking deep breaths now)
    Lady: 6xxxxxxx
    Me: Looking at screen dumbfounded.
Ma'am your VIN is not coming up. What kind of vehicle is this?
    Lady: It's a Chrysler 300.
Me: (punching my desktop) I'm sorry Ma'am you have to call a Chrysler dealer for that.
Lady: Well it's just a car key, why can't you help me?
    Me: CLICK!!!

5:30 needs to get here in a hurry before I get upset.

There's vids on youtube about this stuff too and they are dead on.

Good times. Believe it or not, this is everyday. At least once if not 10 times a day.
