    Default 12 bolt rear end

    im going to be putting a 12 bolt rear end in my car. just wondering if i need to switch anything out? driveshft, yokes, ect? and i went with the 1350 yoke on it for extra strength.

    Everything fits fine with mine. Only thing different which you probably already know is the u joint to mate to the stock driveshaft.

    What did you use for a replacement? And I need one that goes from a 1310 to 1350 right? Or what did you do with yours?

    I prefer Precision but I've heard good things about Spicer as well. As for the others I can't really say, NAPA house brand stuff usually is pretty good.

    Which 12-bolt are you buying? I bought the Strange, and had no problem with the stock driveshaft, and it came with the correct cross-over U-joint. On the other hand, I recall some posts from the distant past that indicated varied results with the Moser unit - some people were able to use the stock DS, others were not. The Moser also has a problem with the attachment for the torque arm. Instead of thru-bolts like the stocker and the Strange, the Moser unit uses 4 separate bolts, into threads in the casing, and they seem to come loose no matter what you do to stop them. BMR will not warranty their torque arm if used with a Moser 12-bolt.
