think im gonna go with gloss black. Anyone have an idea of what they charge for that? Im also going to do the intake and water pump housing gloss black. Do you know about what that cost is?

Price on PCing all depends on amount of prep work to be done. If it's pretty clean and oil free. it should be about $45. I used to do alot of powdercoating and nothing would piss me off more than someone bringing in some nasty, oily, grundgy piece. Especially something like an Acc. Bracket that has alot of deep crevices in it. You spend an hour in the parts washer with a screwdriver and a brush because you don't want that crap in your media when blasting.
An LT1 intake should be at least $125. If done right, it should be out-gassed first to relieve any trapped air pocket int the metal. If your PC guy knows what he's doing he'll understand what you're saying. Out gassing is done at high temps @ 550*.
OP, if you're looking for a polished look, there's no need to polish ruough aluminum parts any more. PC can look better than chrome or polished aluminum nowadays....if prepped & done correctly. To view alot of colors, go to powderbuythepound.com24x LTx 383, and a few odds-n-ends here-n-there.
