C5 wagon wheels option
So I know quite a few run the C5 wagon wheels but find the look to be a little... well bland lol. I know there are a variety of ways to personalize them so just thought I'd share mine. If its been done already then feel free to delete this thread, but I didn't find anything on it.
Pretty much I left the rim alone and just modified the center cap.
On the back of the cap are a few tabs to hold the ring on, just bend them up n slide the ring off. I sanded the rings and main caps down with some fairly high grit sandpaper (800 if I remember right) just to kinda clean them up.
Then I picked my color scheme and sprayed em.
Let drip dry.
reinstall rings and bend tabs back over.
Install rims and caps on vehicle.
I bought some stickers off eBay for mine. They're reflective in light which kinda match my pinstripe and I thought was kinda cool, plus they stick with the corvette theme I've got (plus they are corvette rims so why not) only difference is they not for wagon wheels so they fit a lil tight on the spokes.

Not much of a stand out mod but for those who don't want a solid stock rim that just blends its a little detail. Enjoy!

I like the touch.. actually thought of doing one spoke on my c5s, on each wheel with an LTXtech sticker... lol
I know.. over kill , but cant get the word out ENOUGH.
Anyways, the wagon wheels def suit the straight edges of the blazer very well... a Yin to a Yang....
Great job man.

Thanks Chris. That's kinda why I kept them silver cuz I was thinking bright white (old rims were black n looked small) but was afraid they would make the truck look dull and stand out more than I wanted, and Popo if you ever want to try that idea out ill put some on my spokes. All I ask in return is some sponsor money, some custom fabbed parts, a bay at a performance shop..... lol jk. But seriously if you want I'd be willing to test fit n represent. I already replaced my banner for LTX Tech lol

HAHAHA, Oh, I thought you were serious... I was just wondering why you didnt want a SITE CAR as well to keep mileage down, and allow you to work on your project. Oh well, Ill save the offer.
Seriouly, that made me laugh..... I like what you have for now, with the corvette thing going on..... keep doing what your doing man... I/w appreciate the plug!

Hold on! Im interested! Site car huh? You know I've never owned a car, just trucks.... Lol. If your offering I guess I gotta take it since I'm too nice to say no lol.
As for corvette theme I figured if I went with the LTX spoke I get the center cap flag emblems still lol.
Btw as far as yin and yang... This is exactly same as my project but 2nd gen and black (daily driver)

Nope it's a jimmy also, but the grill fits my land rover fender vents better and the gmc grill was broke when I got it. Although I do have the front diff and transfer case from a bravada for an AWD conversion (which I also have for my project lol)
