Tune needed for rear gear swap

I have a TA with a T56, I crushed my 10 bolt and have another 10 bolt with 2.42s in it that I want to swap in. Do I need to have my PCM retuned?
I'm downgraded to OBD1 amd have everything needed to tun and flash my PCM.

Any ideas/help?

Your speedo will be off but other than that everything else will be ok and by you saying 242 i hope you meant 342 stock gears are 273 323 and 342

Not 100% but it came from an Auto, and I know its pretty low. I'll have to pop off the cover and check. How hard is it to retune for lower gears?

its not but you have to have tuner cats soft ware if it came out of a auto it will either be 273 or 323

Got it. Attached is a OBD1 94-95 LT1-T56 6 speed with a 2.73.1 radio on stock tires (245-50 R16)

No EGR,CAGS, or A.I.R

I hope this is allowed. I couldn't find the rules anywhere
