Thanks, I'll have to shoot some pics of the first Gen Firebird sitting next to it. Has a 400 Pontiac with a 700R4, real nice suspension and Baer brakes. He finished that car 10 years ago about and has 40K+ miles on the build.

Now for something you don't see very often:

    1987 Dodge Shelby Charger

I bought it to be a bit of an economic daily driver, as my last one got good gas mileage. Drove it for a few weeks, averaged 30mpg, took it to the track and popped a head gasket.

Girlfriend is mad now as I have a few turbos laying around, two transmissions on the balcony and endless parts for the thing.

My buddy has a red one. Built a killer motor for it. Motor ended up in a daytona and eventually in a plymouth horizon. Was running 7s on low boost but kept slinging the trans apart.

Mine isn't a GLHS sadly, they go for too much money even in similar shape to my car. I paid 1200 for the car and the guy brought it up to my parents house.

I'm not going too wild on the build yet. I did just pick up a hybrid turbo, T3/T04E, 50 Trim compressor, Stage 3 turbine in a ported .48 A/R housing. It's going to be an interesting combo using the stage 3 turbine in a .48 housing. It will sacrifice a little high RPM power, but the midrange will be be insane. I've got a bunch of other junk going on with it.

Anyone local feel like doing exhaust and intercooler piping?

Lol you should buy his motor. It sat and when they turned it over the timing belt broke but the parts alone would save you a ton on machine work etc for the bottom end. May have to have work done to the head though. It has a t3/t4 hybrid turbo and on 7lbs of boost pulled a turbo g35 by train lengths. Built to handle high boost by a local guy that races them. I can get some more info and price if your interested.

my project for this spring, getting the 442 olds boat into the 10's.. car is a boat going down the track LOL

2 bolt studded, stock crank 455 olds
    9.2:1 pump gas
    factory c casting heads
    holley single plane
    pro systems carb
    .609 hydro roller
    th400
    10" coan 3000 stall
BONE STOCK factory suspension with an aftermarket DTS 12 bolt and 3.90 gears
car makes peak power at 5200 it's a stump puller lol, weighs in at a tad over 4000lbs
car is a super fun street car, drives a half hour to the track and we put no less then 15 passes on it and gets the snot ran out of it. People get pissed cause it has all factory suspension and close to a factory parts motor.
