Default Pretty sure trans is going out...

Ok so I was out driving my car through town an it was shifting like it should, well went to make a pass out at the old airport and I noticed will going from 1st-2nd it was kind of lazy so I go to do a kick down run and going from a 45 roll it would kick down and it was almost like it would stall for a couple seconds and it kicks down twice and ALMOST hits rev limiter. I checked the fluid it was where it should be. The car is a 95 z28 with a 4l60e, only mods are flowmaster catback and lt4 hotcam .So can anyone help me out on whats going on? Thanks in advance. Dustin

What condition is the fluid in? Is it dark or does it smell burnt? Is this the original transmission out of the car?

The fluid does not smell burnt, and the fluid is not dark, the trans came out of my last 95 z28 that I parted out it was rebuilt with the corvette servo's. But like I said It was at 107k when I parted the car out.

OK... Just wanted to make sure it wasn't a '96-up unit. They use a different 3-2 strategy. This could be a 3-2 solenoid that's getting tired or a 3-2 valve that's trying to hang up. Have you scanned it for codes?
