SS Hood Opinions
My car is a Red 94 z-28, I got a heck of a deal on a SS hood, I am debating on painting the scoop black and leaving the rest of it red. Or painting the entire hood red.
Need some ideas, the hood is at the paint shop right now.

I THINK THAT YOU PAINT THE INSIDE OF THE SCOOP RED AND YOU WILL LOVE IT NOW THE ? IS FLAT OR GLOSS AND PAINT THE BERGER PANEL TOO

Personally I'm glad I decided to leave mine red.. however, I also think black would look alright. The manta seems to fit the ls1 cars better IMO, but it's your car, do what will make you happy! (As if getting a sweet deal on an SS hood didn't make you happy enough)

The manta strip looks good on biggriff's car -- I'd say go for it.

Damn, tough decisions. mine too has a black roof. Looks identicle to your car, except mine is wearing drag lites. I like the manta scoop, but I also like the solid red hood...lol Its an aftermarket hood, but the opening is cut out and they filled it with spray foam, I am thinking about digging all the spray foam out and put a grill there. The only reason I think they put spray foam in it was because it was mainly a drag car and maybe it flexed?. I do not know.
