    Default My new toy......dead already?!?

    BLLLLAAAAAAA, RALPH, UPCHUCK, BARF!!!!

I think my Chevy LUV my have the bubble guts!! Sunday morning I asked my stepson to run down to the store for me and I let him use the LUV. Well about 10 minutes later he calls me to tell me that the truck sputtered and shut off. He could not get it to start at all. I drive over and pop the hood and and take off the air filter cover and to my horror there was oil all in the carb?!? I cleaned up what I could and I brought some starting fluid just in case. Primed the carb with the starting fluid and got the truck to start up. It was blowing all of the oil that got into the card out the exhaust. Then the vacume line connected to the valve cover that goes to the air cleaner started spitting out oil.....bad!! WTF?!? Major blow by I guess so I quickly disconnected the hose but the oil was spitting out big time. Head gasket gone bye bye?? Suggestions fellas??

I don't see it being the head gaskets...

    maybe the intake gaskets though?

Your step-son didn't "accidentally" put the pedal to the metal on the cold motor did he?

Well... no one has said it yet, so I will. An LTx will take care of that problem.
It can even be stock (for now )

X10000 and I have my stock LT1 sitting in my garage!

But until that happens , if it actually does, then I'd like to at least make the truck drivable again. Crank care pressure building up and shooting the oil out the top but I haven't had a chance to find out why.
