Overheating Problem
Ok so I posted two threads on CZ28.com about this and no one really got around to completely solving my problem. I know it's quite a bit to read but I really want to get this fixed, please read the thread that's referenced in the thread first and then read the thread I have linked here... Thank you.

Ok, lots to read but this is what I got out of it.
Fans definitely turn on when the A/C is on. You've verified that the fans work by bypassing the relays. New relays, fuse is good. Coolant system has been bled. The water pump temp. sensor has been verified good. Your datamaster file shows the fans ARE being commanded on by the PCM at the stock temp. settings of 226 and 238. The PCM temp. reading of the coolant is normal, although your guage shows red-line. Am I correct?
If so, then just replace the temp sensor in the head and see if it fixes your problem.1996 Camaro Z28

I mean that's where I figured I was at, I just wanted some verification before I went and spent MORE money. Thank you.

Well I got my radiator cap checked and it came up holding pressure a little above 4 psi, so I need to replace that...

try a new radiator cap.
also did you replace the heads temp sensor recently? i broke mine putting headers on and replaced it then my temp gauge was reading all over the place. the computer showed a constant temp that was normal. i replaced the heads sensor again and the same thing was going on. i switched to a dual purpose sensor in the water pump. that made the computer and gauge read the same temps from the same sensor.1996 ss m6 white and black hardtop
