I'd like to think the car will be capable of 10.90's on motor. I'm keeping the stall speed reasonable for street driving and I'll be running drag radials and full size tires up front. It will be a few months until I get something better than a 10-bolt in it, so I'll have to be easy on it for a while.

Realistically, if it runs 11.20's-11.30's at Thompson I'll be happy. At least I know I could probably make a few tweaks and get it to 10's from there.

If it runs that hard in that DA with a mild converter and heavy stockers up front you better buy lloyd a few beers.

Good luck hope you meet your goals.

Got the final specs on the runners and the flow chart from Lloyd!

    Intake runners are 216cc's

What do you guys think of the flow numbers? I know flow numbers aren't everything and I've heard Lloyd's bench is usually on the conservative end. I'd like to see how these stack up to everyones numbers, regardless of what head they have.

So I talked to LE about your port sizes being 215 and mine 205. He said after porting so many they decided to open them up more. Not sure how much more it helps over the 205 port though. I never got a flow sheet with mine but he said they flowed about what yours did.

I'm sure there is a slight benefit. May not be a ton, but after having so much experience with a head, I'm sure he has refined his port design for these castings. Flow doesn't show the whole picture.

Your right. Flow isn't everything, hit the track and see what she does. Most people think flow numbers are for advertising purposes only. Kinda like dynoes don't tell the whole truth.

I just got the car hauled back to town. In a couple of days the engine will be long blocked and I can start bolting on the accessories, coil packs and exhaust. Once I get the vacuum lines and custom plug wires made it'll be ready to put in. Just have to order a crank pulley hub, spark plugs and all the pieces for my plug wires. Should be good to go after that.
