I figured sending out the head to AI for full tilt big valves and GIANT port job. I read that some guys switch to solid roller lifters. I kinda wanna be the guy that puts down 500ish on "stock" stuff

Ok, I've got a desktop dyno program, and I managed to get it to PREDICT a 522 whp 396. Port flow numbers taken from guys online who had stock heads ported, stock style ported intake. Again, this is only a computer model, but it says you're looking at about .650/.650 lift, 24x/25x at .50 thou lift on a 108 lsa.

I'm sure that there are other ways to do it, but that is what I came up with just now playing around on the computer. Larry can vouch for the accuracy of the program, I ran his current combo through it and it was real close (I think it was within 10-20 hp if I remember correctly, it wasn't that far off)

I want to re iterate that I got this off a computer simulation, so results may vary, but it certainly sounds plausible with the given constraints.

    what was the compression?

    What was the torque?

and Do you have a power curve/torque curve?

compression was 12:1, torque peaked at 4500 at 490

At 1000 rpm, it's predicting 278 torque, which rises fairly steadily till it peaks at 4500 then it slowly falls off from there. It doesn't drop below 400 until after the hp peak at 6500

I'm going to try to get a screen shot to post up.

    12:1 aint bad.

I wonder what can be done to get torque over 500 too.
