The day before I went back to work after we gave birth to our new baby girl, my daily driver decided to burst its radiator at the seams. 2-3 weeks minimum to get the part, pending I didn't fry the HG.
So, I was left with a choice, drive the Firebird (never seen snow or salt, car is near perfect), or try and ride my motorcycle. Um, car please! Well, it's northern Wisconsin. We got an ice/snow/rain mix after the temps warmed for a melt, then plummeted below 0.
This was the result. Main highway, 35mph, and a hill. I RAMPED a snow bank on the way in.

It also spidered the paint on the fascia.
It's 95% fixed now. I have to wait until warmer weather to touch up the nose, but the damage is repaired. I even found a mint black fender.

This has been a REALLY bad winter, even by cheddarland standards.

Glad to hear you're getting it fixed. I drove my '94 Camaro through 4 Michigan winters and although I never got stuck or had any issues by the 5th winter I said screw it and got a daily driver to use instead.

She's all back together, and driving. Fender, inner fender liner, new marker light(broke tab), tie rod end. I just need it to warm up so I can fix the paint on the nose. For now, I have the bra back on.
Unfortunately, I'm still having to drive the poor thing. 140 miles a day commute in Wisconsin winter can't be good for it. The Volvo is still waiting on parts.
