    I remember when I was in Peru and had to shower with cold water (I know, sob story right?) Definitely woke my ass up quick in the morning though, jeez. That was some culture shock for me lol.

    Spanish has helped resolve many situations that could have been bad for people I was dealing with at work..

    Everything from asking people to keep their hands in the air.. MANOS ARIBA...(unsure of spelling)

    to being able to walk my way through giving full sobriety testing in spanish....

    yeah i feel ya on that. i remember waiting for my mom to light the hot water heater because we would even turn off the pilot light.

    Plus if you want some good food on the cheap, knowing Spanish will get you into the little latin shops that sell big ass tacos for a buck
