nascar wreck!

I did a little digging and here is something bizarre.
Dale Earnhardt Died 12 years ago on the same lap and from what I can gather the same general area.
The person that initiated the wreck was in the same relative spot (3rd)
Both races were at the same track
Both cars that hit the wall hard had a #3 on it (Earnhardt was #3 and Kyle Larson is #32)
Both races were green white checker endings.
Both drivers were part of the Earnhardt racing team.
Both raced for chevy.

I am not saying anything specific but I was a huge SR. fan in high school and the oddities struck me as I looked up the info. This wreck goes to show that even though we can increase the safety of the cars maybe other aspects of the nascar experience needs to be addressed as the only people that got hurt were fans. I wish all of those injured a speedy recovery and thank God this wasn't any worse than it was

Did anyone see Travis Pastrana racing? That dude can race anything on the professional level

The crash was crazy...anytime you have tires and motors making it into the stands its not good. I hope everyone involved makes a full recovery.
