So, I'm thinking about not logging on for about 3 weeks to let everything settle down, give everyone time to cool off and forgive me for what i have done.

3 weeks is a bit overkill. Being man enough to apologize and just think before you post will be sufficient. But that said they are going to give you a hard time for awhile, just roll with the punches. You aren't a bad kid. All of us have had our feet in out mouths at times.

how about a week and a half? I just want to be able to log on and have everything be water under the bridge.

And i do know i have a problem of just keeping my thoughts to myself. It is just one more thing that i have to work on.

You don't have to log off. The biggest problem with texting, chatting online, etc is that its hard to show emotion on your words. It takes a while of talking with people on here to learn how to take them. There's a reason people shy away from talking about things like religion or politics. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but its generally not taken well when its shoved down someones throat.
